Smooth HDPE Geomembrane(HTPLASTIC) is a black, high quality, high density polyethylene geomembrane produced from specially formulated,virgin polyethylene resin. The polyethylene resin is designed specifically for flexible and durable geomembrane applications, it contains approx.98% polyethylene, 2% carbon black and trace amounts of antioxidants and heat stabilizers, dimensional stability and thermal agin characteristics, HT PLASTIC Geomembrane has excellent resistance to UV radiation and is suitable for exposed applications. These product specifications meet and equal to GM13 standard.

HDPE geomembrane liners are the preferred product for lining projects.  HDPE liners are resistant to many different solvents and are the most widely used geomembrane liner in the world. Although HDPE geomembrane is less flexible than LLDPE, it provides higher specific strength and can withstand higher temperatures.  Its exceptional chemical and ultraviolet resistance properties make it an extremely cost-effective product.

Applications:
Landfill lining
to protect the ground water from contamination.
Landfills capping
to prevent fluid flow in the landfill, to trap and properly vent the gases generated during decomposition of organic waste and to permit efficient revegetation and restoration of the area.
Water reservoirs
for collecting rain-water before it reaches the sea.
Reservoirs for waste-water
to protect the groundwater sources or streams.
Pond-lining
for artificial lakes and irrigation of farms.
Irrigation canals
an economic alternative to concrete and compacted earth for transporting water and irrigating large areas. Also used to reduce seepage from existing deteriorated concrete linings.

Technical Notes:                             
HDPE is a very technical product to work with. It must be installed by certified welding technicians using specialized welding equipment to ensure performance.
Installations are temperature and poor weather sensitive.
40 mil HDPE liner requires extra effort to ensure that the subgrade is in excellent condition. It is suitable as an upgrade from products like the 20 mil RPE for larger installations, and is an excellent secondary containment liner on multi-layer systems (for example: subgrade, geotextile layer, 40 mil HDPE layer, drainage net layer, 60 mil HDPE layer, geotextile layer, fill.)
60 mil HDPE liner is the staple of the industry and is suitable for most applications.
80 mil HDPE liner is a thicker design for more aggressive subgrades.
